Description: This auction is for a classic vintage male nude magazine called “Gay Studs” Volume 3, Number 2. It was published by Pendulum Publishers of Los Angeles and has a copyright date of 1971 (see second photo). It contains five photo-illustrated vignettes with minimal text, a four-page fictional gay murder mystery and a three-page essay about Oscar Wilde. While the stories are interesting, the photos of the hot guys are certainly the reason men bought the magazine fifty years ago!
The magazine is full-size, approximately 8.5” x 11”. It contains 72 pages including both covers. Sixteen pages (including both covers) are in color, the rest are black-and-white. Two pages contain advertisements for other sexually explicit materials (both gay and straight).
Condition: The magazine is in very good condition, with normal wear from handling.
